I have been passionate about animals since I was a kid. I have had 6 of my own pets (4 cats, 2 dogs). Raised my first dachshund from 3 weeks to 15.5 years. I had a sweet stray bobtail cat that I assisted with hospice care. I currently have a rescue dachshund and 3 cats ( cats are all related - dad, daughter, son). The father was a stray, the other two were a neighbor that did not want them. I work with animal rescue and assist with social media online for two dachshund rescues based in CA and FL. I assist with networking for a small all breed rescue in MO. I recently started volunteering with Harmony Rescue in Rustburg, Va.
