I started babysitting as a young teenager and have loved working with little ones ever since. From babysitting children in the community, to helping in the nursery and children's programs at our church, to volunteering in several overseas orphanages, to choosing a profession where I work consistently with children, my heart is devoted to caring for little ones. My love for children and desire to be able to care for them more holistically (especially orphans or those in crisis/poverty) led me to become a pediatric nurse, and I am currently a licensed RN (and CPR certified) and have practiced in pediatrics for over three years. Now a mommy to two small children, I have cut back my hours in order to be at home with them as much as possible. Needing to supplement our income, I am searching for opportunities to do what I most love -- taking care of Read more children -- while also caring for my own.
