After I retired I started a new career, as an ESL Teacher. Watching my students' confidence grow & seeing the pride in their eyes as they learned English, was very humbling & rewarding for me. It was those sweet moments that led me to add childcare to my repertoire. I have long term experience working in a daycare center, as well as private in-home care, for the last several yrs. I have called in Terry a few times and have totally loved having her in my home to sit my little one. The first time Terry met my little one, it was like love at first sight :). Terry is very good with the baby, she knows how to get his attention, make him laugh and play, it's a bliss! Terry has quite the experience which made life so easy for us because she will take care of everything from feeding baby, diaper changing, light baby related tasks she can do around the home like bottle washing and baby laundry. Terry is more than a sitter, she will engage baby into age-appropriate activities and for our baby that includes teaching baby basic words like open and close, actions and walking. Additionally, she is very professional, she has her own rules that she shared on our first day and I was delighted to know that I was working with someone who has values and principles that I appreciated in my home. I will continue to work with Terry and I highly recommend her for babies.
