I used to be a Registered Behavior Technician working with children of all ages with various disabilities and or behavioral difficulties in 2019-2020. More recently, I became a caregiver for two children ages 10 and 8, the 10 year old has a rare genetic condition that unfortunately prevents him from being able to handle any daily living tasks requiring constant monitoring and care including feeding, bathing, dressing, diaper changing, stretching and more. Over the past year and a half, I have attended most of his speech, occupational, and physical therapy appointments which has given me some basic knowledge and insight on his condition so that I can take even better care of him and accommodate to all of his needs. His younger brother is extremely intelligent and active having some sort of after school activity almost everyday which I would either take him to, pick him up from or both. Read more Juggling the responsibilities of these two wonderful children has been a sometimes challenging but overall enjoyable experience. I have learned so much from this amazing family and I am willing to bring my expertise to a new family that feels I could add value to their lives through child care.
