Hello Parents, I am a 35 years old and have been working with children since I was 14. I have experience as a nanny, house manager, personal assistant, babysitter, house sitter and pet sitter. I am the oldest of six children and have experience with special needs, food and drug allergies. I specialize in infants and toddlers and take a special interest in children with anxiety. I have worked for several families long term as well as on call, part time, and date nights. Hi! My name is Amy! I'm very passionate about working with young children (0-5)! I enjoy engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities and taking them outside to play! Arts and crafts and sensory bins are fun to do on rainy days, or not so rainy days too! I really enjoy getting to know each of the children I work with and like to come up with activities to do with them based upon their interests. I have my bachelors degree in child and family development, a graduate level certificate called the EC-SEBRIS (early childhood socio-emotional behavior regulation intervention specialist certificate), as well as my masters in child development all from San Diego State University. I have worked with children of all ages ranging from infants and on up to thirteen year olds (with most of my experience working with infants and toddlers).
