I am cpr/first aid certified. I have many experiences working with children in various settings. As a teenager, I served as a 4H Youth camo counselor which fueled my passion for working with youth. I worked in a daycare the summer after my freshman year of college providing care to small groups from infants to school age. I have taken several education course, including 40 hour internships and worked as a substitute teacher. Also, over the last 5 years I have volunteered in multiple Hippotherapy/Therapeutic Riding Facilities working with individuals with special disabilities and challenges. I enjoy working with children and plan to teach full time one day.
