I have worked at Brick Bodies Childcare services for the past 2 summers. I have absolutely loved the challenge that comes from being surrounded by children from a few months old to 15 years (over a hundred children can come through in a day). Learning to diffuse conflict across that many children with such different personalities was a challenge at first, but a skill I am now grateful to have. I still work a few shifts a week and am a substitute because I have loved my time there so much. I am Pediatric First Aid Certified/CPR/AED. I am a nonsmoker and pet lover. I have also babysat since I was 15 for a number of families and enjoy getting to know children more closely. I am most definitely still a kid at heart and love playing games, doing arts and crafts, sports ect. I play lacrosse in college at Read more Washington and Lee University and am highly active and almost always up for whatever games or activities the kids want to play. I have a lot of energy to keep up with even especially energetic kids. I also connect to kids well, and they tend to warm up to me fairly quickly once I engage them in something. I am hardworking, responsible, and take my job to keep children safe very seriously despite loving to have fun with them. I am also flexible with schedules and house care duties.
