I educated, played with, and guided a boy who is now a man studying at a university. Parenting is one of the more satisfying and fulfilling experiences of my life. As a teen and an adult I have cared for children of all ages. Additionally, I have worked as an aide in a class for learning disabled children, and as a substitute teacher in classes of varying grade levels. As a volunteer, I cared for children at a YWCA while their mothers attended a support group for abused women. I interact with and play with the children in my care. I want them to feel valued and secure. One way to achieve that is to follow the routines and rules with which they are familiar.
