My experience when it comes to caring for children that has specials first starts in my home. My five younger siblings from ages 6-13 have a wide range of special need care. As the oldest I had to learn quite quickly to the type of care that they needed. I have also done a lot of volunteer work at autistic schools as well as being an in class volunteer for children that has special needs. My passion that has brought me to care for these special children is from seeing my brothers and sisters suffer from a range of autism, ADD, ADHD, Asthma, and the list goes on. I have come to love not only children in general, but children that have special needs because I understand what they are going through. The hurt and pain that they feel from not being able to express themselves or even being able Read more to do what "normal" kids can do. My mission and goal in life to to be able to help as many kids as I can be able to not only accept who they are but to try and shoe them a world that they can be a part of as well, as long as they let themselves. I may not have the credentials but I do have experience when it comes to OT, PT, and ST. I having to help raise my autistic brother had to keep the programs in place that was sent home from school. I also did this type of work at the autistic schools.
