I have an amazing 14 yr old son of my own. I started working with children when I volunteered in the church nursery for several years before moving into the Sunday School teacher position. I enjoy children and hope they have fun when I watch them. I've volunteered with the Special Olympics in Vermont for three years from 1990-1992. I attended college and graduated from the Medical Assisting program and Nursing/Home Health Aide program in the 1990's. I'm not currently certified but I was at the time. I did my training at the Children's Hospital of Oakland, CA in the Urgent Care department as well as in a Woman's clinic for the Medical Assisting program. I worked in a Skilled Nursing facility for 1 1/2 years after volunteering for 1/2 year before obtaining the NA/HHA certification. I'm in the process of obtaining my CPR/First Aid Certification through the American Red Read more Cross.
