I adopted my half sister when I was 18. Ive been raising children or babysitting for 22 years. I've been cpr/first aid certified since I was 18. In college I took early childhood development and early childhood psychology. I worked for four years in NC at RS Central as a teachers aid to the developmentally disabled. I went on to work in group home settings for ResCare with behaviorally challenged children. In both programs I was trained in a multitude of behavior redirections, alternative teaching program's and sleep training strategies. Which I have carried over for my own children as well.
