Hi! My name is Jasmine. I am a 22-year-old social work major attending Liberty University. I've always been the type to want to help others so much so that I completed my babysitting license courses at the age of 12. After that, I began working with my local church as a tutor for the children in lower grades than myself. I then went on, at the age of 14, to be a teen mentor for an afterschool/family therapy program at my local high school. I've been volunteering with a local grief camp since the age of 15 where I work closely with children of all ages who have experienced the loss of someone close to them. When I first started my degree I worked as a tutor in inner-city Richmond schools. That experience led to me working for a few nonprofits in the area as an afterschool teacher's assistant. Now, Read more while still pursuing my degree, I work for a local organization for kids with developmental delays and behavioral issues. So I am no stranger to working with children! I love helping others no matter the disability, trauma, or struggles that may come with the job!
