Hi there! I am Ka’Mya, a college student at Virginia State University. I am a political science major with a minor in history, interested in the teaching field as a career choice. My childcare experience dates back to when I was a senior in high school in 2023 when I worked as a daycare teacher to children ages 0-12 years old. During the summer I am a recreation leader for children ages 5-12 years old. I love working with children because I love watching them grow through the amount of time we spend together, whether that is a few months or years. I am CPR and First Aid certified, as well as I have a certification in teaching in a daycare. I’m nurturing, patient, and I love fun! I also have experience working with children on the spectrum.
