I come from a family of babysitters, my mom and grandma both worked in childcare, so I’ve grown up around it. I’m currently a camp counselor where I lead morning and after care, pool time, and playground activities. I’m also an aunt to a one-year-old girl, so I’m very comfortable caring for infants and toddlers. In my free time, I volunteer as a basketball coach for a local boys’ team. I enjoy working with kids of all ages and love helping them learn, play, and grow. Even though I’m fairly new to working with kids, it’s been such a wonderful and rewarding experience. I’ve learned so much, especially patience and how to connect with each child in their own way. I’ve explored other career paths, but nothing has felt as meaningful as this. I truly enjoy getting to know new families and being a positive part of a child’s day.
