We had Ayling come watch our two boys (1 and 7). She brought over an activity bag and was fun and engaging. Her communication with us was excellent the whole time and we had a wonderful evening out without having to worry. Would highly recommend!

Hi! My name is Amy! I'm very passionate about working with young children (0-5)! I enjoy engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities and taking them outside to play! Arts and crafts and sensory bins are fun to do on rainy days, or not so rainy days too! I really enjoy getting to know each of the children I work with and like to come up with activities to do with them based upon their interests. I have my bachelors degree in child and family development, a graduate level certificate called the EC-SEBRIS (early childhood socio-emotional behavior regulation intervention specialist certificate), as well as my masters in child development all from San Diego State University. I have worked with children of all ages ranging from infants and on up to thirteen year olds (with most of my experience working with infants and toddlers). I have interned in elementary schools, San Diego State University Children's Center, and head start programs before. I taught at a preschool as a toddler teacher for a year and a half. I have nannied and babysat for numerous families over the years including families with twins, multiples, and have done nanny shares before as well. Therefore, I am very comfortable working with multiple young children at a time. I am a Newborn Care Specialist trained through the Newborn Care Training Academy (NCTA) and am also a Postpartum & Infant Care Doula trained through ProDoula. I am also a pre-certified Infant Feeding Specialist (currently working on becoming certified). I do have references available upon request. Let me know if you have any questions about me, as I would love to meet up with your family and see if we are a good match!

Rachel was excellent with our 8-month old daughter. We contacted her last-minute after our Nanny had called out for the whole week with short notice, and Rachel was able to cover the whole week. Our daughter is going through a major stranger-danger phase, so there was a lot of crying in the beginning. Rachel was great at staying calm and gently forming a bond and trust with our baby. By the end of the week, our daughter was beaming every time Rachel walked in the door. We definitely hope to use her services again in the future!

Hello parents! I enjoy working with kids of all ages, and love watching them learn. I've been sitting for many families (50+) in the area for the last few years, and I also have a Masters of Education (Elem. Ed.) from George Mason. Over the past 14 years I’ve worked with children in a variety of roles, including: -- Occasional babysitting (2010-2024) - Ages 2-10 -- FCPS - Internship (3rd/5th grade) and sub teaching (2010-2013) -- Private tutoring Since I am a male sitter, I’d be a great fit for those with boys that like to build legos, conduct science experiments, and play outdoor games and sports! I also enjoy and have lots of experience babysitting younger children and toddlers, as young as 30 months. Note: I prefer to babysit for children between the ages of 2.5-10. Since I currently work full time, my schedule is limited to just occasional afternoons, evenings and weekends. I consider myself professional, caring, reliable, and fun! I have a variety of good references and all the sitter basics: [background check, transportation, non-smoking, references, etc.] Thank you for reading, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Andrew watched our 4-year-old and 18-month-old boys, and he was absolutely fantastic. He arrived prepared with crafts, toys, board games, and plenty of creative activities to keep them engaged and entertained. He has a calm, positive demeanor, and both of our boys connected with him right away. Andrew is incredibly patient, attentive, and reliable, and he followed all of our instructions carefully, especially when it came to their bedtime routine. We felt completely at ease knowing our children were in his care. We highly recommend Andrew and would gladly hire him again.

I am a mother of two teenage boys, so have been parenting for about 15 years. Prior to becoming a mother, I was a nanny for many years while in college and graduate school and a babysitter while in middle and high school. I have CPR and 1St Aid Certifications and am highly experienced with dealing with any issues that may arise while caring for infants, young children, tweens and teens. I love supporting kids to play and learn from experiences (games, crafts, sports) but am also ready to support homework and school assignments. I am comfortable with all kinds of pets and happy to feed them or take them for walks. I take family rules seriously and will work with the children to make sure that tasks and chores are completed when required.

My kids loved Jennifer and ask for her to come back often! She not only was wonderful with the children, playing games througout the day, taking them on field trips and reading them stories. She also organized the kids bedroom without being asked! If I could give 10 stars I would!

My name is Andrea Brown. I love working with children, I have been in the field for over 20 years now. I began my career in teaching while working with infants and toddlers for over ten years. I enjoyed being able to nurture them while going through each milestone with them from sitting up, to crawling, walking, climbing potty training, to learning first words and so much more. After many years with infant and toddlers I decided to expand my experience and teach 3-5 year olds. Im currently teaching at a private school working with preschoolers. I’m looking for part time jobs that I can enjoy and make a difference in while continuing to teach during the day. I currently have my CPR and First Aid certificate, and I’m available after 3pm daily. I’m well experienced but also always willing and open to learn new things because all children and families are different. I’m patient, caring, energetic, fun, and enjoy getting to know children and their interests. I strive to work as a partner with families, and build strong positive connections and relationships, and I’m a great communicator, understanding, flexible and reliable. Please contact me if you are interested in connecting. I would love to support your family and get to know your child.

I was a babysitter for my extended family and neighbors during my teenage years and as a college graduate. I continued babysitting through graduate school (for education and counseling)and into my early adult years. Even now, as an adult, I still enjoy babysitting because I love children. I have been a teacher in early childhood and elementary schools, as well as a summer camp counselor and director, for many years. As a result of my job in education, I have undergone and cleared several criminal background checks. I am certified in First Aid and CPR, and I have my own car. I enjoy doing schoolwork, participating in sports, playing games, and engaging in arts and crafts with children. I enjoy being positive, creative, and engaging with kids because they have wonderful imaginations, and I love having fun with them. I try to teach children a great deal, but I also always learn a great deal from them! It's always a win-win situation.
