I’m Shannon, a Special Education Certified teacher with a Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education and 17 years of experience teaching and tutoring young children in an inclusive setting! I am now a homeschooling mom, educational consultant, and full-time special education teacher at a school for children with mild to moderate special needs and other health impairments. I am CPR and First Aid Certified and have been cleared to transport children in a 6-seater van for my full-time job. I am a senior at American University majoring in Data Science with a minor in Computer Science. Hello! I am a student at  Northern Virginia Community College pursuing a nursing track. My hopes are to later become a nurse midwife. Before Covid-19, I was a preschool teacher but I am currently looking to provide more individualized work.
