I am currently a toddlers teacher at a local Richmond child development center working with and teaching young children Monday-Friday. I have been working professionally in child development centers for the past 6 years as a teacher. I have learned so much more being hands-on everyday; with children and families. I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Norfolk State University in May of 2015. Throughout college, I was able to take many courses to increase my knowledge of children as well as working hands-on with various ages through observations and student teaching. I enjoy working with and inspiring children whether it is in the classroom or outside of it. I am very big on reading and learning new things on a daily basis, as well as, making sure children are active throughout the day.
