Former teacher and personal assistant offering high quality, professional care. Experienced working with high profile clients, with discretion. I have years of experience with children of all ages, newborn to teens, including special needs and multiple children. I can take care of your home management, as well. Very reliable and can provide excellent references. Mature, friendly and fun. Very child-centered, but, at the same time, well versed in teaching proper upbringing and behavior. I was raised in New England with a European and military family. I love the outdoors, creative arts, cooking/baking, books, music, games, sports, ballet... too much to list! I like to find out and encourage children's interests, though quiet downtime at home after school is just as enjoyable. I'm available about 1:00 each day, so can put my home management skills to good use before the kids come home, if you'd like (grocery shopping, running errands, laundry, walking dogs, Read more arranging repairmen, meal prep, bill pay, etc). Available weekends on an on-call basis. After school pickups comfortably accommodated in my Lincoln Town Car (seats four). **Comment on My 2-Star Rating! I interviewed and accepted an offer from a family two years ago. The mom had a difficult time finding and keeping nannies. I quickly found her troubling personal issues to be the cause, but I decided to give it a good try. Unfortunately, after accepting, my mother became ill and passed away during the weeks I was to start work. I decided, from this woman's poor reaction, to then decline the job. Even though I was not hired via SitterCity, she went on several online sites to leave me bad reviews (which I found a few days after coming home from my mothers funeral). Anyhow, I thought I should explain. I've had a stellar reputation my entire working life. I am definitely more careful with my interviews now!
