Hi, name is Kaya! I am a recent graduate of the University of Virginia, and will be purusing a M.Ed this upcoming fall at UPenn. I am passionate about early education policy and transforming the lives of youth. During my time at UVA I volunteered and worked with elementary children, assisting with different learning activities. I have experience with helping children with reading, math, STEM, and other necessary skills. At UVA I also served as a research assistant, focusing Virginia's Early Childhood Education field. This position taught me the importance of early educators and nanny's, serving as the backbone of a child's educational and social development. I believe that youth empowerment is critical, and wish to pursuse a career where I can make a direct impact.
