Hello! My name is Sarah. I am currently a working artist in Roanoke and I am seeking part/full time work to supplement my artwork. I am an experienced Nanny and I have a passion for working with children and ensuring a rich, educational, healthy environment. Previously, In my work at the Taubman Museum of Art as a Children's Education Associate I created lesson plans and unique activities relating to art of all mediums (such as painting, sculpture, drawing, etc.), Science projects, theater projects, architecture/building projects, thinking games, and musical fun. I also have experience teaching in after-school programs. I am naturally a tidy person, so you can be sure that your home will be be better than you left it! I have been certified with CPR/AED for the past 6 years and I have worked as a life-guard, which has provided me with skills of high-awareness, safety, and discipline. I Read more have been babysitting in private homes part-time from the time I was 13. And began my work as a professional full time nanny 1.5 years ago. Some activities I enjoy in my free time are hiking, camping, anything outdoors, reading, playing games, creating art, listening to instrumental music, yoga, and exercise.
