I grew up as the eldest of three and have experience caring for children (outside of siblings and cousins) through volunteering in my church, primarily with ages 3–5 and grades K–5 before I left for college, in addition to former and ongoing experience with 10-15 months and middle school. My name is Ellie Aiello and I am a current English teacher with a Master’s degree in education for grades 6-12. I have been babysitting intermittently for over four years with a two year break for part of college. In my experience I have cared for many ages of children from infants up to 12/13 year olds, with the most children I have cared for at one time being 4. I previously worked at a before and after school daycare for groups of children where I cared for children ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade. In all cases I have worked with children with a variety of needs and requirements as well. Along with years of babysitting on and off, throughout my college and teaching career I have worked with students from 6th grade (11/12) up to 12th (17/18) in both a tutoring and teaching capacity. My general availability is for the remaining summer break (until early August) with most other availability being on the weekend. I have my own vehicle, I am CPR and AED certified, and if you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!

After colllege, I nannied for 2 different families. For the first family, I’d provide after school care 3x/week from 4p - 9p. I’d pick up the 2 boys after school (5 year old & 10 year old), take them home then help with homework / reading, cook dinner, bathe the 5 year old, and put both to bed. For the second family, I’d watch their 4 kids (ages 6 mo. old, 3 yr. old, 5 yr. old, & 7 yr. old) 1 - 2x/week during the school year from 9a - 5p & occasional weekends too. On a weekday, I’d provide relief to the mother for the day while she was out of the home. Daily activities included taking the 3 yr. old to preschool, managing nap schedules / night time routines, taking kids to/from bus stop, going to the playground, etc. I am comfortable with pets, but allergic to cats. However, I have babysat for families in the past than have had a cat with the understanding that I’d keep my distance from the pet / cat dander. I’m flexible and happy to answer any questions at any time!

I've worked with kids of all ages for 17 years (as a substitute teacher K-12) and am trained in Behavior therapy. I love kids and teaching... your kids will be in the safest hands, have fun, and learn. I currently work as a Behavior Coach but have availability for back up care/weekdays and weekends on occasion.

I have currently watched kids from all ages, ranging from 4 weeks to 11 years. I also grow up with a lot of cousins that I help take care of.
