Ireland is a wonderful caregiver. She has been our babysitter for almost a year and we couldn't be happier with her. She's communicative, respectful, nurturing and genuinely adores our daughter. She's become a close friend of the family and we're not sure what we'd do without her!

Hello, everyone! My name is Lisa, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce myself as a sitter. I am not just your average sitter - I am a division 1 softball player and a student majoring in Applied Mathematics. One of the things that sets me apart is my love for being active. I believe in the power of physical activity and outdoor play for children's development, so you can count on me to engage your little ones in fun and stimulating activities. Whether it's playing catch, going for a bike ride, or simply running around in the park, I'll make sure your kids have a great time while staying active. Another passion of mine is sewing and embroidery. I find joy in creating unique and personalized items, so if your children are interested in learning some basic sewing skills or need help with a craft project, I'm here to lend a hand. Of course, I can't forget to mention my love for dogs. They bring so much joy and companionship, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. If you have a furry friend at home, rest assured that they will receive plenty of attention and love from me. What I love most about being a sitter is the opportunity to create meaningful bonds with children. I believe in fostering a safe and nurturing environment where kids can thrive and express themselves freely. Building trust and establishing a connection with each child is of utmost importance to me. Lastly, I want to assure you that I take safety seriously. I am CPR + First Aid certified, and I have received the COVID-19 vaccine and booster shots. Your children's well-being is my top priority, and I will do everything I can to ensure their safety and happiness while in my care. I am excited to meet your family and create wonderful memories together. Thank you for considering me as your sitter!

We had an outstanding experience with Lisa! We hired her through Sittercity to drive our teenager from school to the airport, and she was absolutely fantastic—reliable, professional, and incredibly communicative. Even though we never met her in person before the job, we reviewed her social media profile instead of conducting a formal interview, and she came across as a very trustworthy and grounded young lady. That impression turned out to be completely accurate. Lisa followed every detail of our text communication and task list without missing a beat. She even texted us when she left her house to pick him up, which was very reassuring. Throughout the drive, she kept us updated every step of the way—with ETA updates, notices about gas stops and quick personal pit stops, and check-ins when they were back on the road. Her proactive communication gave us complete peace of mind. She was punctual, respectful, and made our teen feel comfortable and safe. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely hire her again. Highly recommended!

Hi, My Name is Bernadette and I'm 48 years old. I am a mother of 4 kids (3 girls and a son) and a grandma of 3 cute grandsons. I have been a nanny/babysitter for over 20 years, caring for infants to school-aged kids. Besides the experience I have with my own kids, I've worked for a number of amazing and loving families. I love playing arts and crafts, reading books and of course the never-ending world of PRETEND! I love to go to the park/playground, library and occasional pool visits when weather permits. I would love to meet you and your family and make this a great experience for both of us. Thank you for your time and Goodluck!

We were incredibly fortunate to have Bernadette care for our children from 2015 to 2021, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She became so much more than a nanny to our family. She was a trusted partner, a role model for our children, and an irreplaceable source of support for my husband and me. From the very beginning, she treated our children with genuine love, patience, and care. Every day she found creative, engaging, and fun activities that kept them learning, exploring, and excited. As they grew older and started school, she seamlessly transitioned into helping with homework, encouraging good habits, and supporting their education in such a positive and nurturing way. Beyond caring for the children, she always kept our home incredibly organized and tidy, which made our busy lives feel manageable and calm. She consistently went above and beyond in ways both big and small, often anticipating our family’s needs before we even had to ask. Most importantly, our children absolutely adore her. Even now, years later, they still talk about how amazing she was and continue to keep in touch with her. Which speaks volumes about the lasting impact she had on their lives. The love, guidance, and stability she provided during such important years of their childhood is something we will forever be grateful for. Any family would be beyond lucky to have her. She is dependable, thoughtful, hardworking, trustworthy, and truly exceptional at what she does. I can recommend her wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

After colllege, I nannied for 2 different families. For the first family, I’d provide after school care 3x/week from 4p - 9p. I’d pick up the 2 boys after school (5 year old & 10 year old), take them home then help with homework / reading, cook dinner, bathe the 5 year old, and put both to bed. For the second family, I’d watch their 4 kids (ages 6 mo. old, 3 yr. old, 5 yr. old, & 7 yr. old) 1 - 2x/week during the school year from 9a - 5p & occasional weekends too. On a weekday, I’d provide relief to the mother for the day while she was out of the home. Daily activities included taking the 3 yr. old to preschool, managing nap schedules / night time routines, taking kids to/from bus stop, going to the playground, etc. I am comfortable with pets, but allergic to cats. However, I have babysat for families in the past than have had a cat with the understanding that I’d keep my distance from the pet / cat dander. I’m flexible and happy to answer any questions at any time!

My name is Ellie Aiello and I am a current English teacher with a Master’s degree in education for grades 6-12. I have been babysitting intermittently for over four years with a two year break for part of college. In my experience I have cared for many ages of children from infants up to 12/13 year olds, with the most children I have cared for at one time being 4. I previously worked at a before and after school daycare for groups of children where I cared for children ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade. In all cases I have worked with children with a variety of needs and requirements as well. Along with years of babysitting on and off, throughout my college and teaching career I have worked with students from 6th grade (11/12) up to 12th (17/18) in both a tutoring and teaching capacity. My general availability is for the remaining summer break (until early August) with most other availability being on the weekend. I have my own vehicle, I am CPR and AED certified, and if you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!

Hi! I’m Adaeze! I recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and am currently living in Leesburg/Asburn area. I grew up as the eldest of three and have experience caring for children (outside of siblings and cousins) through volunteering in my church, primarily with ages 3–5 and grades K–5 before I left for college, in addition to former and ongoing experience with 10-15 months and middle school. I’m currently a certified EMT with CPR and First Aid training, and I take safety and reliability very seriously. I’m interested in helping families with after-school pickup/drop-off, general supervision, date nights, and occasional last-minute sitting. I’m happy to help with light housekeeping and routines, though I am allergic to dogs (mildly) and cats, so I work best in pet-free homes. I enjoy creating a calm, dependable environment for kids and supporting parents in whatever way is most helpful. My goal is to make things easier for you and provide peace of mind while you’re away or otherwise occupied. Looking forward to connecting!

Hi, I am Taryn! I have been babysitting since 2015, making a living solely from childcare for 5 years. In 2020, I nannied for a 9yo and 5yo for a few months. After that, I nannied for 3 children for 2 years. Following that experience, I took a job as a behavioral technician,. I then worked with a family of 8, primarily focusing on the youngest 2 for 8 months. In that role, I was able to travel with the family. I have cared for up to 4 children, ranging from 4 months to 14 years old. I like to engage the children in whatever interests them, but I also try to incorporate new activities and get outside. I am physically active and able to keep up with high energy children, but I also enjoy reading, painting, and crafting. As a behavioral technician, I have learned how to teach new skills and appropriately respond to tantrums and aggression. I try to encourage children to understand their emotions and learn independence skills in a way that’s fun for them! I am looking for a part time or babysitting work, while I’m in school for biology. I have a degree in psychology and will be looking into neuroscience for my masters degree. I can work with all ages. I have a car. I’m comfortable with doing housework, meal prepping, running errands, toilet training, facilitating nap or bed time, overseeing playdates, and any other reasonable requests relating to childcare. Safety is very important to me. I no longer hold my CPR certification, but I would be willing to get the certification upon request. I value clear communication with parents to ensure everyone’s expectations are being met. I always give a quick debrief of the day, as it’s been ingrained in me through my work as a behavioral technician. So looking forward to getting to know your little tikes!
