Hi all! My name is Kayla, and I am a certified clinical medical assistant working in a multispecialty pediatric clinic. I’m CPR-certified and have the privilege of caring for children from just a few days old up to 18 years old. I’m also a mom to a beautiful, adventurous one-year-old who inspires me every day. I’m currently a nursing student working toward my BSN, RN. My dream is to continue in pediatrics so I can keep caring for children, or to pursue labor and delivery where I can support moms and newborns during such a special moment in their lives. When I’m not in the clinic or at school, I work as a substitute teacher — another opportunity that allows me to connect with and support kids. Working with children this past year has been an incredible experience. I truly enjoy helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. Being a Read more sitter allows me to build trusting relationships with families, be a positive part of a child’s day, and provide care that is nurturing, patient, and reliable. Supporting children and their families is something I’m deeply passionate about, and I look forward to continuing that in every role I take on
