My experience with children is pretty extensive, though I am not studying in college for a child-related degree. I started babysitting at about age 14, and haven't really stopped since! I have taken care of newborns all the way to age 11, both boys and girls with various activity levels. I have been a nanny twice, once for a 9 year old boy for a year, and last summer for 3 children- ages 3, 5, and 7. I was also a dance teacher for two years at the studio I attended in high school, so I have experience with large numbers of children as well, ages 2-8.
