I am currently a full-time animal technician at the Institute of National Health. I have been working in this field for several years now, and I must say that I absolutely love what I do. As an animal technician, I am responsible for the daily care and monitoring of laboratory animals used in biomedical research. I take my job very seriously, and my passion for animals has only grown with each passing day. However, despite this love for my work, I have made the decision to take a break from it for some time. The reason being is that I have found myself in the enviable position of having two beautiful nephews to take care of. One of them is about to turn five, while the other is a two-year-old, and I have taken on the responsibility of looking after them when their parents were at work, That has yet Read more stopped last year. As an niece, I take great pride in watching these two little boys grow up and develop. One of the things I enjoy most is teaching them new things and taking them out on little adventures to the park or other fun activities. It is incredibly rewarding to watch them learn and grow, and to be able to play a role in helping them to become the best versions of themselves. Growing up, I had a lot of experience taking care of children, as my mother was a professional babysitter for almost a decade. I helped her out whenever I could, and learned a lot about childcare in the process. As a result, I feel that I am well-equipped to handle the challenges of looking after my nephews, and I am grateful for the opportunity to do so. In terms of my career as an animal technician, I am confident that I have made the right decision in taking a break. While I love my work, I understand the importance of family and recognize that I have a unique opportunity to spend quality time with my nephews during these formative years. I will always value my time as an animal technician and hope to return to the field in the future, but for now, I am happy to focus my attention on this new opportunity .
