Hello Families my name is Kayla Mejias. I live in the Northern Virginia area. I am 26 years old currently working as Special Education Teacher to students with multiple disabilities. I worked as a register behavioral analysis implementing applied behavioral analysis therapy in home services, for clients with autism teaching fundamental skills; life skills, social emotional learning, expanding vocabulary, building up tolerance and behavioral momentum etc. I have also worked as a preschool teacher, and worked as a special education teaching assistant for 2 years. Happy to transcribe my skillsets in home for care, creating a fun and safe environment. Eager to continue to grow my skillset with caregiving for children coordinating bedtime, chores, help with weekly schedule of games or activities, and transport the children to any after school curriculums. I am available Wednesday, Friday 5-8 pm and Saturday and Sunday 1pm-6pm
