Hi! My name is Asia Blackwood and I am currently a teacher for Kindercare Learning Center! Here, I’ve gained a tremendous opportunity to experience many different age groups from infants to school aged children. Before working for Kindercare, I’ve nannied for many different families or previous professionals who work for Virginia Wesleyan University where I graduated earlier this year. I have a passion for kids and being able to positively impact them by encouraging positive behaviors and developmental skills! At Kindercare I’ve been able to acquire my first aid and CPR certifications as well as lessons and classes on effective engagement and teaching tools perfect for your individual child. My availability is very flexible and I’m able to work freely.
