I’m an elementary special education teacher with experience in all ages and abilities! I received my Bachelors in Developmental Psychology and Master's in Special Education from George Mason University. I love working with kids, and am engaging and fun. I like to take kids on outdoor adventures when the weather is nice, and prefer not to just sit around and watch TV all day! I am also very pet friendly, and have a Mastiff/lab of my own at home :) Currently I am looking for occasional weeknights and weekend work.

Kathleen has been a great babysitter for me. In my experience, she responds to correspondence in a timely fashion, is punctual for her engagements, is kind and attentive as a caregiver, and always leaves the play area spick and span when she departs. Katie is very loved by my 3 year old and the rest of my children ages, 9, 12, and 15. She is very warm, caring, responsible, positive, capable, and calm. My toddler lights up when i say Katie's name. Katie has cooked for the kids, driven to practices, been flexible about our crazy schedule and the kids enjoy her company. I would not hesitate to call Katie. She would be an excellent addition to any company or household. She is a great person.
