My name is Talia Harrison and I'm a rising senior at Christopher Newport University where I am a student-athlete and on the honor roll studying to earn my B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in childhood development. I just got home for the summer and am looking for another part-time nannying job! I currently work for the same family that I worked for last summer nannying for 2 little girls! However this summer they only need me 1-2 days a week so I’m looking for another family to get some more hours in!! I have my full schedule for them for the whole summer that I could provide upfront to ensure there are no conflicts! I overall I just absolutely love teaching and spending time with kids as i hope to integrate it into my career when i get older. In my sophomore year I started a job at a children's gymnastics gym called the little gym of Gainsville where I gained a lot of experience with kids, parents, and customer service. I also consistently serve at Park Valley church where I volunteer in the Children's program. At PVC I spend most of my time with toddlers and elementary-age kids playing with them and teaching them new things while their parents attended service. In terms of babysitting, I have cared for children of all ages (newborns to like 12). I full time nannied in summer 2020 for a family with 3 children- 2 girls ages 3 and 5 then an 8-year-old boy. In the summer of 2021, I full time nannied for a family with 2 girls ages 1 and 4. Additionally, for the last year, I have consistently babysat for a couple with a newborn who is a little over 1 now and then has also helped out a single mom who is a nurse during the school year with her older boys mostly just getting them to sports, helping with homework and making them dinner and such! I have taken numerous childhood development classes and am CPR certified so your kids will always be in the best hands!! I drive a Jeep SUV with a completely clean driving record so I LOVE to take the kids out and plan activities for us to do and love to send updates and pictures !! I also love cooking and doing meal prep and am VERY organized and tidy so I can help out with other tasks around the house as well!!
