Hi, everyone. My name is Megan. I recently moved to the Orlando area from Williamsburg, Virginia. I absolutely love spending time with kids. My belief is that child caretaker should not only provide a safe and nurturing environment, but that they should be involved in the child’s play. One of the most rewarding aspects of childcare is watching children discover new things and find joy in the world around them. I have a variety of experience working with kids of varying ages: -I have worked as a Sunday school teacher for two years. As a Sunday school teacher, I teach and spend time with a class for two hours a week. I provide interesting and engaging activities for the kids and make sure the kids feel included and comfortable. -I taught the 7-year-olds' class (12 of them) for a year. -I taught the 4-year-olds’ class (9 of them) for a Read more year. -I taught the 18-month-old's class (6 of them) for 6 months. -I worked as a part-time nanny for the last year. I watched a 2-year-old and a 7-year-old brother and sister for 3 hours a day, 2 or 3 days a week. I prepared afterschool snacks and/or dinner for the two kids. We played games, read books, and played outside when the weather permitted. -I babysat a 9-month-old boy and an 18-month-old girl for the occasional date night. We played with their toys. I bathed and put the kids to bed at their bedtime.
