Hello! My name is Abbie and I am a student at the College of William & Mary. I am studying Public Policy and Public Health and have taken courses in child development as well as completing multiple CPR/AED and first aid courses. I have a younger brother and aside from playing with and supporting him, I have been working with kids since I was 11 years old. I have worked as an in home babysitter for children as young as 1 all the way up to 10 years old. I also worked three years as a summer camp counselor for school aged children and as an aid for children with disabilities (including physical disabilities, chronic health conditions and developmental disabilities) who attend camp. I love seeing how kids grow and learn. I have fun answering questions and making up games with them. I enjoy entertaining kids with imaginative play as Read more well as more structured games. I am a flexible person when working with kids but am very dedicated to ensuring both their safety and fun. In my past jobs as a childcare provider I have done some light cleaning and easy cooking work as well as doing diaper and clothing changes when needed. I would be willing to provide transportation if you provide a car or bus pass.
