My name is Havvah and I just turned 20 and finished my second year at Bard College where I've been studying liberal arts with a focus in English Literature and Writing. I started being a "mother's helper" at 12 for two families with children ages 3 months to 6 years old. I then transitioned to babysitting independently through age 16 for a few families with children ages 2 months to 9 years old. I then worked as a cashier for our local supermarket while I finished high school. I worked two nannying jobs last summer for 2 children per family, including a child with special needs. My greatest strengths in childcare are positivity, creativity, and empathy, with a genuine love of children and an ability to attend to their needs and emotions with patient, kind, and reliable care. Although I do not have official CPR and First Aid training, my Read more mother is a family medicine physician and has unofficially trained me, including a training in cpr especially for infants. I have my own transportation, and am willing to do any housekeeping that is needed in addition to preparing food. I can work from July 6--August 25 as I am in college, but during that time, I am available Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as wed-fri after 4 pm for as many hours as you may need.
