Hello! I'm an honors student at Castleton University. I study elementary and special education and I'm especially interested in child development. In high school I had the opportunity to intern in a preschool as a special educator assistant. This was when I discovered my passion for teaching. Since then, I also worked as a daycare teacher before I went to college. With this job I worked with newborns to 9 year olds. I feel like I am set apart because I have worked with a very wide range of children. I have learned about and taught/cared for children of trauma, children on the autistic spectrum, children with down syndrome, learning disabilities and speech delays. Though, not an expert obviously, I do have experience with children who have all different backgrounds and need different things. Working with children is my passion and until I can be a teacher, I would love Read more to babysit or nanny your kids! :)
