I am the oldest of four girls, and my two youngest sisters are 9 and 11 years younger than me, so I learned a lot about childcare while I was growing up. As a young adult, I babysat regularly to earn extra money. During college, I worked as a live-in nanny for a 10-year-old girl on Martha's Vineyard one summer, and I became so close with the family that they invited me to live with them again the following summer. Currently, I help out a few of my friends who have young children.
