For the past year I have been the nanny of 4 and 6 year old siblings. Prior to working for this family, I had spent the last 7+ years in healthcare. When my schedule changed I missed working with kids in pediatrics so I applied as a nanny and have been so happy with the decision. I spend a fair amount of my time with school aged children outside of work. Along with spending time with my son's friends, I am also a regular volunteer at his school. For this position I was fingerprinted at the police department and cleared through national and state background checks. Years ago I spent time volunteering at a local daycare in the infant and toddler rooms. I also regularly babysat the children from a few families. Their kids at the time ranged from 3 to 10 years old.
