I am a current graduate student at the University of Vermont. I have previous nanny and daycare experience before moving to Vermont. I have previously worked in a nursery watching several babies between the age of 1 and 12 months. I was also a Pre-K tutor during undergrad and worked with young children. I also volunteered in after school programs to watch Pre-K and kindergarten students in undergrad as well. Finally, I have babysitting experience watching toddlers while parents had other engagements. I love children of all ages and really enjoy working with them as a side job while completing school. If given the opportunity for this position, I would treat all parties and children with the utmost respect and do my best to fill all the wants and needs of the parents and children.

We had a wonderful experience working with Jessica. Our toddler son is at the age where he can be a little clingy, but she helped him feel comfortable right away with lots of attention, activity and reading favorite books - this was quite a feat to us, especially given that we were elsewhere in the house during the babysitting sessions (close enough to be a distraction to him but not available). She watched him for 4 hour sessions, and kept him happy, engaged and entertained throughout with a mix of reading, playing, snacks and exploring outside. We would definitely be interested in working with her again. Thanks, Jessica.
