Caring for children is my passion, and I would love to continue my journey by caring for your children this summer! I am from South Dakota, but am spending my summer in Poulsbo (May to August 14th). I am responsible and dependable, ensuring your parent requests are accommodated. With me, your children will have fun playing and learning, rather than spending the entire day watching TV. I possess nearly five years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants upwards. As a nanny and babysitter, I swim with children at the local pool, plan and make arts activities, bake in the kitchen, play outside, and spend hours using imagination and creativity during play. During my volunteer work in a preschool and second grade classroom, I model appropriate behavior and lead several group activities. I am also CPR and First Aid Certified. I love children for their spontaneity and Read more energy. They have such bright and big imaginations and I can't help but feed off of their energy. I am fascinated to watch them learn and grow and to be a part of their lives. This is why I have chosen to pursue a degree in elementary education. I just finished my first year of college and look forward to continuing in the fall! I currently work at a child care center here in Poulsbo full-time.
