I was born and raised in Grand Haven, MI, a little tourist beach town on the shore of Lake Michigan. My partner is a Hotshot Wildland Firefighter for the USFS which is what brought us to Washington. I'm active, very comfortable around water and love the outdoors, crafts, and reading. With 3 sisters and 32 first cousins, I’ve been caring for children since I was one! I started babysitting at 14 and have been a full-time and part-time nanny on and off since. Prior to completing my bachelors I spent summers as a full-time nanny for high profile family with 3 children. I remain close with the entire family today. After 7 years in corporate consulting out of Chicago, I took a year off to nanny for the infant of two Michigan State University professors from Belgium.
