Hello, my name is Emily! I am 18, currently a senior at Bonney Lake High School and I love to care for children. I have babysat for local families around Bonney Lake usually ages 4-10. I have a lot of experience just at home though being the oldest child with two younger siblings. I have watched children for the MOPS (mothers of pre-schoolers) program at my church for the past three years and from 2011-2013 I volunteered with the Families For Effective Autism Treatment group playing with and teaching children with autism ages 4-12 once a month. I have taken classes like Careers With Children where I was STARS certified (allowing me to work with kids in the school daycare center). The vlass taught me basic childcare skills as well as what to do in emergency situations and how to perform CPR. I still have an interest in such a field but the main reason I continue to work with young kids is because they are just plain fun, happy, and creative and always a highlight to any day.
