My name is Jenel. I am 26 years old and a certified special education teacher. I’ve been teaching for 1 1/2 years and prior to that was a behavioral tech for students with Autism spectrum disorder. During the school year I would act as a 1:1 behavior aid in the school setting and during the summer I would help lead social and life skill groups in the community for teens and adults with special needs. I also have been a nanny and babysitter for individuals with and without special needs. I’m off work for the summer and trying to fill in some of my free time.
