Karry W.

Karry was our nanny from February of 2021 through April of 2022. She cared for our daughter from the time she was about 10 months old until age 2. If you have the honor of having Karry as a candidate for your childcare position, I would highly and enthusiastically recommend her to you. Karry truly became a part of our family. She bonded deeply with our daughter and is responsible for the successes our daughter has had in her development. Karry has infinite patience and would literally spend hours reading to our daughter, engaging her in various puzzles, and teaching her songs. Our child was always in a great mood after spending the day with Karry because Karry would always find ways to make each day fun. Karry took the time to learn our parenting philosophies and applied them consistently in her own care. In addition, Karry took on responsibility around the house and routinely contributed above and beyond what was asked of her. Karry is dependable and flexible – she was always adaptive to our needs and schedules. She is an excellent communicator, worthy of the highest level of trust, and responsive to feedback. Karry is extremely talented in the care of infants and toddlers – her attention to detail, experience level, and calm demeanor allow her to confidently handle any situation common to young children. If you have the chance to integrate Karry into your family, I will wholeheartedly recommend her.

Karry has been working for us as a full-time nanny from last 1.5 years. She started when our son was less than 3 months old. She's kind, loving and compassionate and our son is deeply attached to her. Our son had colic when he was born and we discussed this with Karry when we interviewed her. To our pleasant surprise, she came well read and well prepared with knowledge of how to help soothe our colicky son! She has held him for hours when he was upset, played with him with love, made him laugh and tended to his every need! She had been reading books to him ever since he was a baby and now our son asks to read books to him daily! She has stayed on top of our son's safety and we trust her more than anyone else outside of our family. When we are at work, we can stay focused on our jobs and be assured that Karry is taking good care of our son and keeping him away from every danger! Karry has also been extremely professional. She is always on time and flexible when we need to adjust her work schedule. She takes our son out for daily walks (Seattle weather permitting) and takes him to weekly book-reading sessions at the nearby public library. She is also a lot of fun and is so full of energy. It's fun to watch her play with our son and teach him in a very entertaining manner. To sum it up, we are extremely lucky to have Karry as our son's nanny. We consider her part of our family! We would absolutely and whole-heartedly recommend her as a nanny.

Karry looked after our 5 mo daughter. She was enthusiastic and responsible, communicated well, and was a natural with our daughter. It was clear that our daughter was her top priority and her care for her was top notch. Our daughter was always happy to see her and she did a great job soothing her when she was upset, whether she was hungry, tired, needed a diaper change, teething, or sick. We highly recommend Karry!

Karry has been with our family since April 2015. She is consistently reliable, honest, and loving. Karry plays with the children, taking them to the library, zoo, the playground on a regular basis. She runs errands, including picking up the children from their current half day pre-school program. We have two boys 4 and 5, both of whom have come to love and rely on Karry very much. They are entering pre-school full time and have to start July 4th so she needs another family! You would be mistaken not to snatch her up right away. We love her and we know you will too. Karry watched our almost 4 year old son while I transitioned back to work after a break and she did a great job engaging him and following his routine. She was reliable and confirmed her schedule each week as well as keeping notes of the daily events. She kept the house maintained and our son was very happy with her and all the day's activities. My work schedule has now changed so I will be staying home but I would highly recommend her!

I found Karry within a few weeks of moving to Seattle when I needed care for my 6 month old son and 2 year old daughter. She easily settled in as our part-time nanny so I could get back to work after our move and tackle the busy time of year. She has been in our lives ever since. I don't work full time anymore, so Karry is now our 'date night' sitter - and when she comes it's the hilight of my kids' week! They adore her. And it's not because she's too lenient. She will follow mom's rules for any aspect of childcare. I love that I can leave the kids with her without any drama from them. Karry knows what to do, takes care of dinner, cleanup, bath time, story time and bedtime. I have no worries while she's there. She has even cared for my kids overnight for 3 nights! She is a lifesaver. I know that Karry cares for my kids as if they were family. I recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter, and have heard similar reviews from anyone whose kids have spent time with her. Karry's mission in life is to care for kids, and she is wonderful at it.
