Hi! My name is Bella, I am a 21-year-old student currently getting my associate of sciences. I enjoy cooking, organizing, and cleaning as they are all very calming activities for me, and am open to helping with these things as well. In my free time, I enjoy snowboarding, reading, and getting in extra hours at my work-trade at a horse barn. I love working with kids! One of my first experiences working with kids was in high school. I interned with a private elementary school for 2 years, studying children's learning growth and helping create personalized learning plans for multiple kids between the ages of 4-10. We approached learning through a more tactile learning environment allowing kids to learn through experiences and with their hands as opposed to just out of the book. I started working with kids when I was 15 as a summer camp counselor and have been Read more doing it for the past 6 years! I was a counselor for kids between the ages of 5-16 in groups of ten. I was with the children round-the-clock. Some responsibilities included making sure everyone got their medications and the time needed, making sure the children got '"social breaks", taking them to and participating in their scheduled activities, organizing meals, facilitating chores, and ensuring the safety of everyone. This last year I completed 2nd year of being certified in CPR, first aid, and lifeguarding and was the summer camp's lead lifeguard watching and working with kids of all ages between 5-17.
