**CURRENTLY AWAY FOR SCHOOL** Hi there! My name is Jasmine, and I just finished my first year of college. I am planning to attend nursing school in the future, so my interests when it comes to work has always veered towards helping out and caring for anyone in need. I speak English, Korean, and some Portuguese + Spanish to expand my ability to help out. I have multiple years of experience in working with children as a former TA and arts and crafts supervisor, as well as watching a friend when her parents were working. I have also taken classes at college on child development and psychology; and in combination with my actual experience of working with children it has been simply fascinating learning just how much children pick up from their environment and context, plus how important of a role a caretaker plays. As a babysitter, I am absolutely open to taking the children somewhere to play or running any quick errands if necessary! I am also a proud owner of an 8 year old pup, and love being around pets as well. One of my favorite nicknames given to me is Raven, for my strong, intelligent and independent personality along with my ability to be firm or gentle when it is right. I hold empathy to very high regard and always consider previous contextual factors and the person’s personality before I make any conclusions big or small. I care a lot about how I impact others, and encourage those I know to do the same whenever I can. And when it comes to caring, it’s not just about feelings; ask any of my friends or family: they will tell you I am always on their case about wearing enough sunscreen, taking medications on time, eating a balanced diet, getting some movement in, and drinking plenty of water every day! :) In my free time, I love yoga, art, hikes, building houses in Sims 4, hanging out with friends, and watching some shows here and there.
