Hello! My name is Genesis, I am 23 years old. I just moved to Carnation from Missouri. I went to school at Maharishi International University, a private school with it's basis in consciousness based learning. I learned how to meditate and this fulfilled me from the inside out! This strengthened the connection to myself and my love for play. Children live in the innocence of the present moment and that's something I admire about them! I am very active and energetic which helps me keep up with childlike wonder! Most of my experience with children has been through babysitting. My more professional experience has been through the Americorps program called Jumpstart. Jumpstart is a preschool program for at-risk and low income children. We focused on social emotional skills to become better at expressing feelings to solve various problems. I was also was a student teacher for kindergarten at a local Read more elementary school in my hometown, and taught my own nature based kindergarten class.
