I'm a RAL graduate and a native to longview. As a babysitter, I've spent the last year and a half caring for a vibrant one-year-old and an energetic three-year-old, which taught me the art of patience and multitasking. I've also enjoyed six months of looking after a lively six-year-old and an inquisitive eight-year-old, where I honed my skills in engaging older kids with fun and educational activities. I love being a sitter because it's incredibly rewarding to watch children learn and grow, and I cherish the unique bond I form with each child. I also attended cispus as a camp counselor for 5th grade this last year which offered me the experience to handle 4 children in my care for the first time. My training includes CPR and First Aid certifications as well as 8 months training as a lifeguard, ensuring I'm prepared for any situation, and my experience has equipped me with the ability to handle everything from meal prep and bedtime routines to creative play and conflict resolution.

I’m one of those people that kids & pets seem to love! I have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 5 chickens, 5 fish and 1 rabbit in the house as of right now. Hello parents! I have been an occasional babysitter for the past 37 years. I have cared for newborns all the way up to teenagers. I do NOT have experience with children with physical disabilities, but am open to learning. I am available to do occasional babysitting jobs. I am NOT seeking full time babysitting or a nanny position; although, I can do PART TIME, temporary nanny positions, if you need one while searching for a full timer. I prefer to babysit no more than 2 children at a time, so I can give each child quality care and watch them closely; however, if you have VERY well behaved children, I am open to babysitting 3 children. I like to engage children while I am babysitting. I do NOT like to plop them in front of the TV-unless it's rest time or when I am preparing meals. If the weather is nice, I like to play in the backyard or go to a nearby park during the day (weather permitting). Even a walk gets them out of the house and moving. I paid for a criminal background check on Care.com, and I have an FBI fingerprint clearance, I can send both to you upon request. I can help with homework- I have three college degrees! I'm good at math, english, writing and science. I am available on short notice, but prefer at least a day's notice. I love working with children and giving them a safe space to grow and learn. Teaching children in a fun way will always bring a smile to my face. I was previously a daycare teacher at WeeCare Daycare and Little Red Bard Academy and am now a full-time student at StyleMasters College for nail technology (and willing to fix up my schedule to accommodate your family). When working in said daycares, I was CPR and First Aid certified, but both have expired with time. I plan on getting those said certificates as soon as I have the money to afford them

I just started my sophomore year of college at Portland State University with a a major in Russian. Unfortunately I have decided to withdraw from college this year to take a year off to find what I am passionate about. I have some prior experience with babysitting as I babysat a 6 year old in Minnesota for about a year. I do not have any training or certifications but would be willing to get whatever I need!
