Hello parents! I have been an occasional babysitter for the past 37 years. I have cared for newborns all the way up to teenagers. I do NOT have experience with children with physical disabilities, but am open to learning. I am available to do occasional babysitting jobs. I am NOT seeking full time babysitting or a nanny position; although, I can do PART TIME, temporary nanny positions, if you need one while searching for a full timer. I prefer to babysit no more than 2 children at a time, so I can give each child quality care and watch them closely; however, if you have VERY well behaved children, I am open to babysitting 3 children. I like to engage children while I am babysitting. I do NOT like to plop them in front of the TV-unless it's rest time or when I am preparing meals. If the weather is nice, I like to play in the backyard or go to a nearby park during the day (weather permitting). Even a walk gets them out of the house and moving. I paid for a criminal background check on Care.com, and I have an FBI fingerprint clearance, I can send both to you upon request. I can help with homework- I have three college degrees! I'm good at math, english, writing and science. I am available on short notice, but prefer at least a day's notice. I'd be happy to meet you prior to babysitting if you prefer, or do a FaceTime chat, or a phone call. I am fine with pets, as long as they are friendly. I have a big soft spot for kitty cats! I’m Ariel! I’m 16 (I know, the site says i’m 18), and love kids and animals. I’m very experienced and responsible taking care of both children and animals. I’m one of those people that kids & pets seem to love! I have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 5 chickens, 5 fish and 1 rabbit in the house as of right now. I love doing arts and am a very inventive person - I take multiple art classes and would love to supply arts & crafts if that’s something your child is interested in! I’ve been helping to care for younger children since I was 10 years old, becoming an official “babysitter” at 12. I’ve helped care for my younger siblings their whole lives, as well as caring for friend’s kids, and working in a church nursery. Hi! I'm Anastasia, I'm 20 years old and I am originally from Minnesota but moved here to Portland in order to go to school. I just started my sophomore year of college at Portland State University with a a major in Russian. Unfortunately I have decided to withdraw from college this year to take a year off to find what I am passionate about. I have some prior experience with babysitting as I babysat a 6 year old in Minnesota for about a year. I do not have any training or certifications but would be willing to get whatever I need!
