Hello! My name is Camlyn and I have an extensive history as a caregiver. I worked as a Care Provider/Specialist for over 5 years in Kansas City, MO, caring for teenagers and adults with special needs. I moved to Phoenix, AZ in 2012 and continued my work there for nearly two years working as a Respite/Habilitation provider to special needs children and adults. I met my husband in AZ and after we married, we decided to move back to the Seattle area to be closer to family, as we are both originally from here. A year after moving back, I gave birth to our beautiful daughter who is now 10 months old. I feel very blessed to be able to stay home with our daughter, but she is now getting to a more independent stage and I feel confident that I could care for another little one during the day. Ideally, I would love to find a family with a kiddo younger than her (newborn - 10 months) to come spend the days with us while my husband is at work. We love to get outside and go for walks down to the beach or meet up for playdates at the park. We have a spare pack-n-play, a moses basket, an infant seat with a base, and a very secure baby carrier. I am very knowledgable with preparing formula as well as breastmilk, cloth diapering, babywearing, safe infant sleep, and carseat safety. I upheld my first aid/CPR certification throughout my entire working career and they recently expired. I am planning on renewing them within the next 6 months, but would be happy to get that done sooner if you would appreciate that. Additionally, my husband and I took a baby-safe/infant CPR class at Northgate Hospital after our daughter was born but it did not include an official certification.
