Hello! I am a new pediatric physical therapist that has prior nanny and babysitter experience. I work full time during weekdays but I generally enjoy working and interacting with kiddos, so I still do the occasional date night sitting on Fridays and Saturdays. I am not always available on those days to provide care, but you are always welcome to reach out! As mentioned, I have experience as a nanny and babysitter. This began when I was obtaining my undergraduate degree and I served as a hired babysitter for one of my classmates. This progressed to serving as an occasional babysitter for numerous families through different sitter sites. Over the years, I have had childcare experience most notably with children aged 6 mo- 8 years. In these jobs, I have had experience caring for multiple children at once, preparing meals/bottles, and taking child(ren) through their morning or bedtime routines. I Read more also enjoy reading to children and interacting with them during playtime, whether that be coloring, drawing, or playing games. I try to make my sitter experience fun for the kid(s), but I am also a stronger believer in upholding parent(s)' rules, schedule, and parenting style and always strive to maintain these things when I provide care for a family (e.g., amount of screen time, snack or dessert rules, or timing of bedtime). I'm responsible, friendly, and reliable and I would be delighted to assist families with their child care needs.
