Hi! I’ve been working with kids for about 6 years and honestly it’s something I genuinely love doing. I’ve cared for all ages from tiny 3-month-old babies to teenagers, and I’ve worked in daycares, Sunday schools, as a private nanny for families, and as an occasional babysitter too. I’m really comfortable with all the day-to-day kid stuff — bottles, diapers, naps, school drop-offs, homework help, bedtime routines, meal prep, playtime, keeping kids entertained, and helping them feel safe and cared for while parents are away. I try to be the kind of sitter kids are excited to see and parents feel relaxed leaving their kids with. I’d describe myself as patient, reliable, easygoing, and pretty good at keeping things fun while still staying responsible. I know every family is different, so I always try to adapt and make things easier however I can :)

Yana was amazing with our son! We were visiting from out of town and she asked some great questions to get a feel for his routine. I felt like she was very prepared and reliable. She has some great experience working with kids and you can tell. She was so sweet and able to help him calm down when we left, kept a log of his day, gave us updates while we were gone. It all put me at ease. When we’re back in town next, Yana is our top choice.
