So it looks like I have to explain my one 1 star review. I agreed to meet with the mom just Two days before she needed me. Then I’ll admit, I never made it to the first daycare pickup, the one her father already planned to meet me at and pick up his grandchild while showing me the ropes. She was not stranded. I fell asleep late afternoon due to intense crying over my recent miscarriage, only to learn I’m most likely pregnant again. I did plan to make it that day but i didn’t even get a second chance, just a “we’ll have to go with someone else, thanks”. Very shocked at the negativity in the review. If you knew me any longer than 10 minutes you’d know I have never missed a drop off until know, knowing she would have her grandfather there that day anyways. I needed Read more a rain check (meaning next day) which I said in my apology that night and I could’ve been quicker about my response but that child was never abandoned, but to say not to trust me around other peoples kids is insane. My name is Bree, I am 22 years old. I mainly care for other peoples fur babies (19 dogs and 10 cats counting!) but I did a couple years of babysitting mostly when I was in high school and also enrolled at pierce college for the Running Start program. I was taking classes in hopes of being a mother-baby nurse (after labor care for mom & baby). I volunteered in the family birth center and NICU at Good Samaritan Hospital for a little over a year starting when i was 16. I took a babysitters training class led by American Red Cross when I was 11 (I still have the little certificate). From then on I’d babysit for my little cousins and watch my step brother when he was younger. The two main kids I looked after for were ages 3 and 5 up until 6 and 8.
